Brant Bjork & The Bros – 16/11/2007.
Taken last night at Independent. My friend put the show on and to be honest I was rather disappointed in the turn out. A very lack lustre performance from Sunderland's music scene, especially when so many people claim to like bands such as Kyuss, Fu Manchu, QOTSA etc. Local Drone/Doom band Bong supported who I must admit I love (but then I love Drone/Doom anyway). Their whole set consisted of 1 song. Rest of the evenings photo's are here.

I entered a photography competition the other week with this photo and I've just found out that I came 1st runner up in the "Amusing Tyne" catagory. I'm pretty happy right now. I *think* as a result I've won a £50 Jessops voucher and an invite to the photography exhibition of all the winning photographs on the 13th December in Newcastle. How cool is that? Pity my name's spelt wrong on the web site too but ahh well.
