Remember, Remember the 5th of November…
I love this time of the year, despite the cold weather. This week I've practically lived on Pumpkin, Chili and Lentil soup which was made from the innards of my Halloween pumpkin (I would post the recipe but I made it up as I went along I'm afraid) and on Thursday myself and a few friends went to the local fireworks display where I took the following photo's.

Bossk @ Independent 16/10/07
Bossk are the band that has stood out the most for me in 2007. I first saw them in February whilst supporting Cult of Luna and they blew me away. Tuesday was the second time I've seen them and the 1st I've been able to take photo's of them. There was hardly any light at the venue as the band's request which made things difficult but I think I got by.
Negura Bunget, Wodensthrone & Fen.
Negura Bunget were one of the first Black Metal bands I ever got into. Quite fitting that one of their gigs (in my hometown no less) is my first attempt at live music photography. I really like some of the photos I took. Purely because it was an awesome gig, Wodensthrone (a local band which comprises of friends and my other half) supported them and not only that but we ended up sharing our small flat with Negru, Sol and Hupogrammos from Negura Bunget and I even cooked them veggie fry ups for breakfast the next day. Seriously you couldn't make this up. The rest of the piccies, as usual are on flickr.
